"Life is magical; you just need to open your eyes to see the enchantment... we are so insulated against anything painful that we become numb to the beautiful as well... Joy and suffering, laughter and sorrow they come hand in hand... this is life... don't miss out on it... find the beauty in the wreckage." - Jon O.

Not the kind of thing you post on Facebook

As you know, I'm all about posting our doctor visits, my thoughts and feelings on this... well, I have learned so much from others and at the same time still feel like I am missing so much more information/knowledge. For instance, I just learned that insurance pays for your special needs child diapers after they turn 3. I didn't know this and truth be told, it really upset me, what can I say, I'm a total spaz. Yes, I need the dummies manual on how to raise your SN child and resource book. Anyhow, received a case of diapers at my house not even a week after the request was made with her insurance company. Oh yea!

Now back to what I wanted to write about, I haven't been blogging much since I found Facebook and Twitter, they are very easy to use and extremely addictive. Though I have posted some of my pen-cast before, I'm just not sure if it's the right thing to do. I'm sure someone has made up Facebook do's and don'ts but I wasn't about to google it, just trying to get the time to do this almost caused a tiny winy breakdown (another reason I don't blog as much anymore).

This is a pen-cast of our visit with Dr Mayer from Pulmonary Department. Pretty much everything falls back onto her cardiac doctor, poor guy. So, it looks like at our next cardiac visit we will be talking about Transtracheal Oxygen. This was the nosiest and most distracting Ava has ever been at a visit, of course it had to be a first time meeting with Dr Mayer and it was an important visit. Not sure why (I kind of forgot how to use my pen) but in some areas you don't hear anything if you click on the paper it should start up again.

I always suggest that people bring an extra set of ears and hands to office visits but even though you have an extra person with you, sometimes your little ones are still a handful, especially when that extra helper you bring happens to be a nervous grandma that was trying to focus more on the doctor than her granddaughter! Still love you mom and Jewel's you're a little turkey, I love you even though you turn my face 10 shades of red sometimes especially when you paint our bed with your poop.
